Here's another design from Kurt's Shirts. It features the logo of Aspen Beer, the fictional brew enjoyed by the crew of the Nostromo in my favorite movie ALIEN
.

Die Hard Alien!
Most folks didn't notice, but the monster from Alien 3
Thus endeth the alien biology lesson. I mention it only as a segue into a feature over at The Rush which shows what the aliens might look like if spawned from everything from Tyler Durden to Robocop.
Check out the entire series here!

Screencaps from new Alien Blu-Ray box set
20th Century Fox has released a handful of screencaps from the upcoming Blu-Ray release of the Alien movies
. Fox and director Ridley Scott have successfully used the first film in this series to set the bar for new digital media since the release of the Laserdisc set back in the 1990s (a collection so nice the bonus materials were even included with the previous DVD box set.) Below are the Blu-Ray images, courtesy of the film's Facebook page.

Care for a chocolate chip nightmare?
I'm not someone who eats a lot of cookies, but would gladly change my eating habits to accommodate this incredible Alien

No matter who wins, we all lose
Here's a link from the Hypno Pimp: a classic children's tale we all should have grown up with, called Alien Vs. Pooh. Warning: you will see a teddy bear wearing panties.

ALIEN continuity Polaroids

The various DVDs and laserdisc editions of Ridley Scott's Alien are among the best film packages ever released. And just when you think they've found every scrap of info and imagery to squeeze onto a disc, they always find more.
Above are a few of the continuity Polaroids included as a gallery on the Alien "Quadrilogy" set. Yeah, I included a panty shot.
The last Polaroid shows actor Jon Finch, probably taken about five seconds before health issues forced him out of the movie. John Hurt replaced him after shooting had already begun.

Aliens: Arcade Flyer

James Cameron might think he's king of the world, but once upon a time he was Sigourney Weaver's bitch.
Cameron and 2oth Century Fox made the mistake of developing Aliens before they signed Weaver to a contract. By the time they realized their mistake it was too late to plan another option, and Weaver jacked them for one of the biggest paychecks an actress had ever received. And she earned every penny, too.
Afterward, it became clear that Fox couldn't afford Weaver for their various spin-off projects. Not only did the "Ripley" who appeared in the Dark Horse comics look little like her, but neither did the later action figures. They even hired another model for the promo shots appearing on the toy art.
The same must have been true for the Aliens arcade game, because the model seen in the game flier above ... well, see for yourself.
