The Avengers movie toys: Coming sooner than you think
Here's a look at the first wave of action figures from the upcoming Thor movie. It's worth noting there are still Iron-Man 2 figures on the shelves, while Captain America toys will be available by the start of summer. It's entirely likely you'll find toys for the lead characters in The Avengers film on the shelves together within just a few months ... and the film hasn't even started shooting yet.

Free Droid Wallpaper: Iron-Man
Iron-Man 2
(one of my favorite movies of the year) hits home video tomorrow. I thought this would be a good time to share some of the wallpaper I made for my Motorola Droid phone.
I don't know about you, but I've had to wade through too many bad "free wallpapers" on the Droid Marketplace. A lot of them are just random images that either don't align well with the screen or are too busy (and sometimes both.) After doing a little research I found the image dimensions and resolution and started making my own.
Below are thumbnails of some of the Iron-Man related wallpaper I made. (I included wallpaper for the "briefcase armor," which might have been my favorite costume from the film.) Click on them for the full-sized images.

Iron-Man jump drive
I don't think I'll ever get used to seeing the Disney logo attached to Marvel characters, but things like this ought to help the long, slow translation: a 4 gig Iron-Man jump drive. The funny thing is that Disney — which is primarily a movie studio — is almost encouraging media piracy in the description of this product.
Trust Iron Man to keep all your important data -- movies, music, photos and files -- safe and secure.
Weird. But the important thing is that I now have an excuse to carry an Iron-Man toy in my pocket at all times.

Robert Downey Jr. hits Toy Fair

Tony Stark paid a visit to Hasbro's showroom at Toy Fair, according to SuperheroHype. How ling before Toy Fair becomes the victim of sprawling excess like the San Diego ComicCon?
Not that Downey's not welcome to the geek party, of course.
