Paper craft has been having a resurgence in recent years and I have to wonder if it's a response to the growing digital nature of the world, which has taken artwork into intangible realms. You can now create entire worlds for movies without ever really creating anything at all, so the idea of turning bits of trash into fragile sculptures looks all the more charming.
